Kristen has been appointed to the LSU Law Alumni Board of Trustees, a group of 25 to 40 alumni who serve as trusted advisors to the dean of the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center. The Board's role includes promoting alumni understanding of the Law Center's priorities and achievements, encouraging financial support, and engaging alumni in the life of the law school. Additionally, the Board assists the Law Center in anticipating changes in the legal profession to better prepare students for their careers.​
